We have been married for 7 wonderful years. We now have 3 grown children out on their own, we also have our first grandchild! Benjamin James Davenport! We're proud of all our kids that they are all enjoying success and health. We're also thrilled to have our second grandchild on the way!

We made the decision to adopt in June of 2003, but were not able to proceed until January of 2005. The decision was driven by our inability to have kids on our own. We decided on China because of Charles' background of growing up around a diverse group of asian populations. We also knew we wanted a girl, since a large majority of the children available for adoption in China are girls, it made the choice easy.
